Fondo Alquimia is a non-profit organization, founded in 2002, as the first and only fund by and for women in Chile. Our mission is to mobilize resources to directly support and strengthen the activism of women’s organizations in the country.

Our work is focused on groups who normally have more difficulty accessing resources: groups of young women, indigenous women, migrants, women from rural areas, lesbians, LBT persons, domestic workers, etc. During our 8 years of existence, Fondo Alquimia has supported more than 135 organizations all over the country.

We advocate a feminist philanthropy that puts women in the center of the construction of a more just, peaceful, cooperative and diverse society for everyone.
